Petey is a young Pit Bull mix who weighs about 64 pounds and has grown up at Haven. He has been in our care since October.<br/><br/>Petey is a playful, excitable, and happy puppy. He’s a big boy with lots of energy and loves having the chance to run and play. Once he’s had some play time, his sweet and affectionate side comes out.<br/><br/>Because he’s still a puppy, Petey is working on manners like leash skills and greeting people politely. Growing up in the shelter has made consistent training a bit challenging, but he is very treat- and toy-motivated and has a lot of potential if someone is willing to put in the time to help him learn.<br/><br/>Petey has participated in our Doggy Playgroup and enjoys playing with other dogs. He especially loves wrestling and rough play with his canine friends. We are unsure how he does with cats.<br/><br/>His adoption fee is $75.
