PETEY

This little guy is Petey. Petey is the cutest, cuddliest, lovingest puppy you've ever met. Poor little Petey was found abandoned on a cold January day in Queens, wandering in the street with no tags, thin, filthy and hungry. We've cleaned him up, got him well fed and vetted, and are now looking for a GREAT, responsible and forever home for this loving, gentle boy.<br/> <br/>As you can see from the pictures, Petey is a real cutie-pie. He is black & white, but his black color is actually a dark black/brown brindle, and the tips shine silver in the sun. He really knows how to turn on his handsome charm. He is neutered, approximately 11 months old & 40lbs. He will probably be a 50 - 60lb adult. He is totally crate trained, housebroken, no quirky aggressions whatsoever, good with toys and on the leash. He is dog friendly, and curious about cats (he might give chase, but he's gentle, and young enough to be trained to live with a cat). He's very good with people and children, and has a gentle and calm personality, especially for such a young dog. <br/> <br/>He probably did not come from a loving environment, as he cringes and drops to the floor to a raised hand or verbal correction. When he walks on the leash, he constantly looks up for approval. He was found with bite wounds on his ear, which have now totally healed. He is sweet and very smart, and so eager to please and be loved. He would make an AWESOME family member.
