You'll be singing his praises! Hi, friends! My name is Peter Singer. I'm a sweet, spunky boy who's hard to resist. I'm a 1.5-year-old, 34-pound shepherd mix. I'm the pawfect size for both adventures or couch cuddles! I'm already neutered and I'm a healthy dude. I was recently rescued from Ensenada and have been loving life with my foster fam. The only thing that would make me happier is a furever home with you! I'm an outgoing guy who gets along with everyone I meet. I love playing with other dogs, particularly my furry siblings! I'm amazing with children and love being part of the family. I don't bite and I'm never aggressive, but since I'm still in puppy mode, I can give playful nibbles. I also love playing fetch, going on walks, chasing toys, and being an active boy! Although I have plenty of energy, you can also find me being a total cuddle bug. I'm a good listener and easily trainable. I've already master house and bathroom training. I go in my crate when my people leave and when it's time for bed. I will whine at first but settle down shortly. I am doing well on my walks and tug a bit (I'm just so excited!) but I'm making great progress. I would love to continue my training with you! Since I'm such a friendly fella, I would love to be adopted into a home where I can be part of the pack whether that's with other pups or with kids! The more people or pooches to play with, the better. I love exercise, so an active family would be the best fit. I promise to give you lots of snuggles and love in return! The Animal Pad's Adoption Policy

We prioritize local San Diego applicants. We do not provide transport of dogs to other states, and don't allow the dogs to fly in the cargo of the plane. Our adoption process from start to finish, involves 3 standard forms, and 2 situational. All potential applicants must be capable of providing their adopted pet with routine and emergency veterinary care (yearly health checks, keeping vaccinations current, heartworm/flea preventatives, and immediate care in the event the animal is sick or injured). They are required to license their pet, and keep an identification tag on their pet at all times. All applicants must agree to a home check, and provide us with a veterinary reference, or personal references if you're a first-time pet owner. Our home checks are not to invade the privacy of the applicants, we do this to ensure the pet is going into a safe home. We do not discriminate against non-homeowners, or those living in apartments, condos, or otherwise. Our adoption fees vary from $150-1000. Applicants must agree in writing that if for any reason they are unable to keep or care for their pet, the pet will be surrendered back to our rescue and not re-homed, turned over to a shelter, pound, rescue, new owner, sold, etc. Adoption Application: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/
