Bio: We were contacted by a family who's pet Beagle was impregnated by the neighbors pit bull type dof. They found homes for all the puppies but learned that Peter was blind. They considered keeping him but they lived on a large property without a fenced in yard and were afraid he would get hurt or lost without being able to see. So they reached out to us for help so we could find him a home that would be perfect for him. This little pup is the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet. He loves other dogs and humans (not been exposed to kids or cats but with right introductions I think he would thrive especially if the cats like dogs and the children are old enough to understand his disability). He would benefit from having a canine sibling to learn from but would also be okay with being the only dog and getting all the attention as long as the owner is going to put in the work to train and socialize him into a confident adult dog. He has a feisty personality and loves playing and chewing like any puppy. He also loves to cuddle and sleep on or next to humans and his canine foster siblings. Since he is blind he will need to be supervised more until he learns the layout of your home. He needs a fenced in back yard for his safety to play and needs to have an owner who is also willing to crate train at least until he's a little older so he can stay safe when his people are away from the house. Peter doesn't know he was born any differently than his siblings and now he's ready for his forever home just like his brothers and sisters.
