Pete's Story

Cattle dog maleWelcome Pete from Tulare County Animal Services! We courtesy posted this dude about a month ago and someone ran down to the shelter and got him. Sadly, he was returned due to no fault of his own. I guess the resident dogs didn’t approve. After that, we said bring him here - we’ll find him his forever home.
We’re all enamored with Pete. Not just his dreamy blue eyes, but his whole vibe. He’s 42lbs of Velcro, Heeler goodness. He’s estimated to be 2 years of age. He is people friendly and dog social. We are told by his former adopters that he LOVES kids. Unfortunately, no cats at this time. Stay tuned as we get to know him better. So far this is what his foster has to report after less than 24 hours:
Pete is doing great, he is coming out of his shell a lot today. He’s already glued to my side, learning his!
Pete is microchipped, neutered, and UTD on vaccines. He is located in San Luis Obispo, CA.
More photos and updates: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1625978031697178&type=3
Interested in Pete?
