Hi there, I’m Petal!<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and energetic companion who will make you laugh every single day, I might just be your girl. I’m still a young pup learning all about this big, busy world — and wow, there’s so much to see, smell, and chase!<br/><br/>I’ll be honest: I’m not perfect (yet). I’m still figuring out things like where to potty, what’s okay to chew, and how not to get too excited when I play. Sometimes when I’m overstimulated or full of zoomies, I forget my manners and might nibble or tug on clothes — but I’m learning quickly with structure, patience, and my favourite reward: treats!<br/><br/>I have lots of love to give. I’m super affectionate — cuddles, tummy rubs, kisses, you name it! I follow my person everywhere and love to be close. I also adore playing fetch, running, and going on long walks. I do pull a bit on leash (okay, maybe a lot), but I’m improving every day.<br/><br/>When it comes to other animals, I’m very curious and friendly. I get along well with bigger dogs and love having someone to play with. I can be a little too excited around birds, squirrels, or smaller animals — they’re just so interesting! So I’d do best in a home that can help me practice calm behaviour and give me outlets for my energy.<br/><br/>New people can make me a little unsure at first, especially if they move too fast or surprise me. But if you approach me calmly and let me come to you, I warm up in no time. Once I trust you, I’ll shower you with love (and probably sit in your lap even if I don’t fit).<br/><br/>I’d love an active home — maybe with a yard where I can run, play, and burn off energy. I’d do well with another confident dog friend, or as your one-and-only if you’re home often and love to play. I just need gentle guidance, consistency, and someone who understands that I’m still learning.<br/><br/>I might be a bit of a handful right now, but I promise — I’m worth it.
