Meet Perry - Your New Best Friend in the Making Hey there, I'm Perry! I'm an 1-year-old Lab mix weighing about 60 pounds-and I'm basically a bundle of love wrapped in fur. My heart is full, my tail never stops wagging, and I'm on a mission to make everyone smile! Life is one big adventure to me-I love exploring, sniffing out new spots, and turning any ordinary moment into a fun one. Whether it's a long walk, a romp in the yard, I'm always up for a good time. But when the fun winds down? I'm a world-class cuddler. Belly rubs? Yes, please. Snuggles on the couch? Don't mind if I do. I might be a bit goofy, but I'm also incredibly sweet and totally devoted to my people. I'm still learning the ropes (I am still a pup, after all), but I promise to bring laughter, love, and just the right amount of mischief into your life. Why adopt me? Our adoption fee is a minimum $150 tax deductible donation but will be waived for the month of May for our "Adopt Big, Save Big" life saving promotion to save even more large breed dogs from local pounds. All donations are used for rescue and medical care of animals in need. C.A.R.E. Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

All animals are spayed / neutered before they are available for adoption. This helps reduce pet overpopulation in the Ozarks - the highest in the country. Each animal is current on vaccinations. Both dogs and cats must receive three total sets of vaccinations to prevent deadly animal diseases. All animals at C.A.R.E. are kept current on their vaccinations while in our care (All animals are vaccinated for Bordetella or "kennel cough", DA2PPV, CVK-puppies, DA2PPV, Lepto-adult dogs, FVRCP-C-kittens & adult cats). Dogs and cats above the age of 12 weeks old also receive their rabies shots and are sent home with a rabies certificate, collar, & rabies tag. If a puppy or kitten is adopted before they have received the total three vaccinations, it is the responsibility of the adopter to provide them. Each animal has been dewormed and treated for fleas. Worms are parasites that can cause serious damage to your pet. C.A.R.E. deworms all of the animals in our care.
