Hi, I'm Perdita! I'm a sweet, affectionate young girl with a BIG puppy personality and plenty of enthusiasm for life! I originally came to the shelter as a stray and was adopted, but I recently returned because my puppy energy turned out to be more than my previous family was prepared to handle. When I get really excited or overstimulated, I can become very mouthy and may jump up and grab at arms, so I'm looking for a family who is comfortable working with an energetic young dog and helping me learn better ways to manage all that excitement. Because of this I am looking for a home with older children only. <br/><br/>Underneath those puppy antics, I'm an incredibly loving girl! I adore attention and cuddles, I'm very food motivated, and I can be a great listener when I'm able to focus. I've also been very interested and excited when I see other dogs-sometimes I have so much to say about it that I'll quite literally scream! I'm still learning my manners and will benefit from structure, appropriate outlets for my energy, and continued positive-reinforcement training.
