My foster mom just took me to the pet store and tractor supply store today. I wanted to say HELLO to EVERYONE, and quite a few people stopped to give me a HUG and some PETTING! That was so much FUN! I strutted around those stores like I owned them! So confident and beaming with charm/charisma!<br/><br/>My Fun Side!<br/>I am a FUN DOGGIE who has medium-high energy. I do love to go for Walks, Play with Some Doggies, Play Fetch (I am still learning this game), Tug, and Go for Car Rides. I really enjoy Dog Agility and Scentwork too! I will do best in a home that will Exercise Both my MIND and BODY!!<br/><br/>I am SUPER FOCUSED & SMART!<br/>I LOVE to learn new things. I know the SIT, DOWN, COME, and LEAVE IT commands. I am learning: STAY, WALK NICE ON LEASH and SPIN. I have made good progress in learning the AGILITY OBSTACLES and I have also started SCENTWORK. I am very FOOD MOTIVATED and PEOPLE FOCUSED. Both traits that are key in doing well in training!<br/><br/>More on My Training!<br/>I am SOOOOO happy when I am in Dog Training Class. I LOVE to learn new commands and play in AGILITY and SCENTWORK! I have done some Platform Training too. I am also Housetrained and Crate Trained. I am so much fun to train!! I am hoping my new family enjoys dog training as well.<br/><br/>I LOVE going for CAR RIDES!<br/>My foster mom just took me on adventure to the Pet Store and Tractor Supply Store. She did put me in a Crate in her car. I was VERY GOOD. I just lied down and relaxed. She even went through a fast-food drive through and I was calm and quiet while she ordered and picked up her food.<br/><br/>I ENJOY going for a WALK!<br/>I do enjoy going for a walk. I am learning to heal, but if you go for a casual walk I do like to walk ahead with a gentle pull on the leash. If you say my name, I quickly turn around and come back to you. I am a fun dog to take for a walk.<br/><br/>I am a HERDING DOG!<br/>My foster mom prefers to adopt to a family who is familiar with herding dogs. At a minimum, I need a family dedicated to providing me adequate exercise and continued training. I am soooo smart, that I am not happy unless I am exercising both my body and brain. Please read more about herding dogs, and my foster mom is more than happy to discuss this further with you.<br/><br/>I Enjoy Doggie Puzzles/Games!<br/>My foster mom has provided me with some doggie puzzles and even feeds me with one of the fun doggie games. This is a good way to keep my mind active and keep me busy!<br/><br/>Are YOU the RIGHT FAMILY for ME?<br/>I am looking for a family who is dedicated to providing me exercise and continue with my training (obedience, agility or scent work). I am super cute, but remember I am a herding dog with a lot of energy. I am very confident, and can be pushy. That is why the rescue says I will do best in a home with ADULTS and/or CHILDREN over the age of 10. I am good with some dogs, but I have never lived with a cat before. I did see a cat yesterday, and chased her out of interest. I did give it up when my foster mom told me to leave the cat alone.<br/><br/>I am a SMALL and HEALTHY CORGI!<br/>My owner did say she got me from a backyard breeder. I am a Pembroke Welch Corgi, but I am SMALL and have a FULL TAIL. I weigh about 20 pounds now, but I am thin. My Ideal weight would be about 22-25 pounds. I am already NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED and HEATWORM SCREENED. I am all set to live a LONG and HEALTHY LIFE with my new family!!<br/><br/>For More Information!<br/>If you are looking for a SMALL, CUTE, ACTIVE, FUN and SUPER SMART doggie, then you should consider adopting me.
