Peppermint Patty (Seattle, WA)'s Story

Meet Peppermint Patty --- Sponsored by Jeni’s Ice Cream!

Peppermint Patty has a heart as big as her smile! This sweet senior girl has been through a lot, but she’s come out stronger, healthier, and ready to share her golden years with someone special. Mostly sweet with just a little spice, she’s affectionate, loyal, and almost always in a good mood.

Patty overcame major health challenges, including two surgeries to remove benign mammary tumors. Thanks to excellent veterinary care and lots of love, she’s now pain-free, thriving, and even had dental work to make her smile shine.

She adores people of all ages and will happily follow her favorite humans from room to room.

Patty is very treat-motivated and loves to learn. She’s currently enrolled in Reactive Rover classes where she’s the star student — incredibly smart, eager to participate, and motivated by treats and praise. She enjoys walks, does best with routine and predictability (while still handling change well), and loves food puzzles to keep her mind busy. Bonus: she LOVES car rides!

She would do best as the only dog in the home, as she enjoys being the star. However, she has been wonderful with kittens and cats in her foster home and makes a respectful, loving cat-sibling.

Her favorite things? Your company, enrichment toys, car rides, and snacks.

And the sweetest part - her $290 adoption fee is fully sponsored by Jeni’s Ice Cream! Her lucky adopter will even receive some free ice cream to celebrate her homecoming.

OTHER INFO:
– Age: ~10 years
– Weight: 47 lbs
– Adoption Fee: Sponsored by Jeni's Ice Cream ($290)
– Apply at: pnwcdr.org/adopt

If you’re looking for a resilient, affectionate companion who will brighten your days, Peppermint Patty is ready to meet you.
