Peppermint Patti's Story
Meet Peppermint Patti (aka Peppy)

This 2-year-old energetic pittie mix is ready to leave her past behind and start her best chapter yet. Found as a stray, severely emaciated and in need of entropion surgery, Peppy’s journey back to health has been slow and steady — and she has blossomed every step of the way. She is now up to date on vaccines, spayed, on preventatives, and learning what it truly means to feel safe, loved, and part of a family.

Peppy is currently thriving in a foster home with two children (ages 8 & 6) and a 9-year-old male pit mix. She is:

✔ï ̧ Dog friendly (slow introductions are best — she gets excited and just wants to play!)
✔ï ̧ Learning her basic commands — sit, down, and off (no jumping!)
✔ï ̧ Working on polite leash manners
✔ï ̧ Crate trained and sleeps soundly in her crate at night
✔ï ̧ Good in the car
✔ï ̧ Making great progress with house-training (consistency and patience will help her continue to succeed)

Peppy may not love the cold weather, but she absolutely rocks a coat or PJs — they are her jam! She enjoys walks, chewing her bones, playing tug of war, and of course, snuggling up on the couch after a fun-filled day.

She will do best with an active family ready to provide daily exercise, continued training, and plenty of love. If you’re looking for a resilient, affectionate, playful companion who will reward you with endless devotion, Peppy is your girl.

Interested in applying to adopt?
