Peppers story is not unlike many of our dogs. He had a family that loved him, until one day..... he just didn&#39;t At 9 years old, he found himself at the shelter, picked up as a stray. No one was searching for him. While that alone is a sad circumstance for any dog, it&#39;s especially heartbreaking to see for a senior.<br/><br/>But, Pepper is doing what a dog does best. Loving unconditionally. Showing us his resilience, courage, trust, and his heart. He continues to look for another human heart to put his paws on. And to be loved again, forever.<br/><br/>Pepper doesnt demand or require special attention. He simply wants to coexist and be included in your world. He wants to take the trash out with you, or help put away the supplies. He wants to patrol the yard, making sure gates are locked and everything is as it should be. He wants to lay in the grass or on his bed and enjoy his toys. He will happily lay his head on your shoulder or lap for some snuggles, love, and affection. <br/><br/>He&#39;s as easy to care for as they come. He doesn&#39;t make a mess, he&#39;s keeps himself occupied with his toys, he&#39;s potty trained, he minds his manners. He&#39;s an overall gentleman. He loves the simple and quieter things. He wants to be your one and only. He wants to be your world. And in return, he will quietly and effortless become the best part of your day and he will give you his entire heart. <br/><br/>He is oh so loved at the barn, but we know this isnt the place our senior boy deserves.
