Pepper (& Sadie- bonded pair)'s Story
Sadie and Pepper are two terrier mixes looking for their forever home together. They are about 6 years old and were born about 6 months apart. Pepper was born to one of Sadie's littermates, so they are aunt and niece as well as best friends.

The dogs are seeking a new home because their owner passed away recently. They love all humans big and small. They lived with other similar-sized dogs at one point, but have not otherwise socialized with other dogs. They also have lived with cats.

Sadie and Pepper are housetrained and know how to sit. They are smart and eager to please. They have always lived with a large fenced yard and are unfamiliar with collars and leashes. They do not appear to shed very much.

Sadie is 19 lbs and Pepper is 17lbs. They are heartworm negative and generally in great health. Pepper has a stiff back left leg sometimes when she gets up from a nap. It does not slow her down or give her pain, but our vet suggests that it could indicate an old injury, so she should get X-Rays when she goes to her new home.

Both Pepper and Sadie are classic couch potatoes. They love to run around outside and play together and with people, but are happiest curled up together and with their favorite hoomans. They would happily stay by your side all day long. They warm up to new humans immediately, and become attached quickly. They love to go on car rides. They may have a bit of separation anxiety, so their ideal home would have someone in the home most of the day. They would also be outstanding office dogs.

We have pictures of 3 of their parents. Their fur is currently cut short. Pepper and Sadie MUST stay together.
