Pepper ASAP

PEPPER is a blue-eyed husky/hound mix who was an owner surrender to the shelter with her sister. Sadly, her sister didn't make it out, but Pepper was lucky to be adopted by a family. It turned out that she wasn't the best match for their pup and came into Rescue with us to find a better fit for her. Pepper is 3 yrs. and about 48 lbs. She's a really special girl, so smart and loving. She's housetrained, loves to play fetch (when she's in the mood) and cuddle on the couch. She enjoys and needs to have walks or runs or hikes to be happiest, though she can be satisfied with a mile or two (or if you have a big yard she can race around :) She had good recall for her prior family's runs on the beach and bonded strongly with the humans in her family. She can be a bit possessive of her toys and may enjoy being an only dog at this stage in her life. She's a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys a super smart canine friend.<br/><br/>As you might suspect with her breed mix, no cats or chickens for this girl
