My name is Pepper! I am a 1.5-year-old 70 lb neutered big boy. I was found when I had been abandoned in the woods of Fort McClellan for quite some time. Along with another dog who I worked hard to protect from harm. I can be an Alpha male because I had to be for such a long time. but I do get along with other submissive dogs especially female ones. But kitties would be a hard No for me, I play too rough. I love all attention you can give me because I have gone so long without it, but just a bit to make sure I am safe is all. I am ready to leave the past where it belongs in the past and find a family to love me for me, like so many other homeless dogs out in the world. And yes, I know I am a simple black dog, but I have so much love to give, with so many opportunities to show you what a GOOD boy I truly am. I am house trained and love to play fetch or find a fun toy to run around with as well.
