Pepper's Story
Pepper is a 3 year and 13lbs. She was an owner surrender last June due to a broken knee and her elderly owners didn't feel confident in rehabbing her. She has pins in that knee. She is weight bearing now, however it did heal crooked so she often carries that leg instead. Pepper is protective of her "spot" and can take time to warm up to people, especially men. She will warm up after a few days of an individual walking her and giving her treats. Pepper would do best as a single dog, but is fine with cats and smaller dogs as long as they are not near her "spot". She is crate trained, and both potty pad and house broken,
