She's incredibly intelligent and picks up new things quickly. She enjoys having a job to do and would benefit from continued training and mental enrichment to help channel her energy.<br/><br/>One of Pepper's favorite things in the world is other dogs. She absolutely loves canine companionship and would likely enjoy having a playful dog friend. Because she's fast, energetic, and sometimes unaware of her size, she may be too much for very small dogs or young children.<br/><br/>Pepper is crate trained and happily runs into her crate when asked. She eats her meals there and enjoys the security of having her own space. She's also great at entertaining herself and can often be found tossing toys around when no one is available to play.<br/><br/>Her ideal home is with an active person or family who enjoys hiking, walking, running, or spending time outdoors. A securely fenced yard where she can burn off energy would be a huge plus. Pepper is affectionate, people-oriented, and eager to please.
