Pepper is a sweet senior hound currently living in a loving foster home while she waits for her forever family. Because she is in foster care, an approved adoption appointment will need to be scheduled in order to meet her so her foster can bring her to the shelter.<br/><br/>Pepper is heartworm positive, but don’t let that discourage you — she still has so much love and life to give. She is wonderful with other dogs and is currently living with a puppy whom she has taken under her wing. She is incredibly tolerant with him and has stepped into a gentle, motherly role, patiently teaching him the ways of the world. When she first goes outside, she can be a little rambunctious as she follows her nose and takes in all the exciting scents around her. However, she is slowly but surely settling into her foster home routine and learning to relax.
