Pepper <br/>10 years old <br/>Neutered male <br/>Chihuahua <br/>10 lbs <br/><br/>Pepper has been with our rescue for about a year. He came to us with an interesting medical concern - there's no PG way to put it so we'll be blunt lol... his penis is huge. After further examination and some time to monitor our vet determined that it's actually just the prepuce (skin around the penis) that's enlarged, and that it's completely cosmetic. It's never caused him any discomfort, infection, urination issues, etc. and hasn't changed at all in the year that we've had him. <br/><br/>Pepper was originally part of a bonded pair and after being medically cleared for adoption, his "sister" Baby unfortunately passed away This was a tough adjustment for him, so we decided to let him stay with his current foster to let his heart heal before listing him for adoption again. We are now all in agreement that this sweet boy is finally ready to find his forever home! <br/><br/>- Dog/cat friendly <br/>- Crate trained <br/>- Potties outside and uses pee pads <br/>- Walks well on leash, fenced yard not required <br/>- Loves kids! <br/><br/>If youre interested in adopting Pepper please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt<br/>Long distance adoptions considered - must travel to us in the Buffalo, NY area for a meet and greet. <br/>Pepper is also eligible for our "forever foster" program - you welcome him into your home as if he were your own, but the rescue will continue to pay for his medical care for the remainder of his life.<br/><br/>*Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications. We ask that you are sure you are ready to welcome a dog into your home and are seriously interested in adopting BEFORE applying.
