Pepper's Story
Pepper is a beautiful, sweet, approximately 1 year old border collie mix. She likes toys and chasing balls (she doesn't usually bring them back though), and cuddling in bed or on the couch. Pepper does well with most dogs, as long as they don't get in her face too much at first meeting. She has made best friends with a number of dogs in her time in foster, and has done best with male dogs on the submissive side.
Pepper has chased a couple of cats, and would probably do best in a home without any, however she would do okay with a confident cat who doesn't panic and run from her. She isn't aggressive towards them, but does chase. We would not recommend that Pepper live with small children, as she's been intimidated of the ones she's met.
Pepper has come out of her shell during her time in foster, and lets her playful side show more than ever now. She will need someone with a little patience, as she can be shy at first.
Pepper is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

If interested in adopting, please fill out the application at the following link: https://www.wildwestpetrescue.org/adopt
