Peppa 's Story
Peppa arrived in NY this morning and is already settling in like she belongs here!

She’s maybe around 2 years old (rescue math keeps us guessing), about 30 lbs, and a bit underweight right now, which means lots of extra treats, good meals, and love are on the agenda. She’s still decompressing, but so far she’s enjoying her foster home and spending time with the other dogs.

Peppa found herself at Lee County Shelter back in August, and from the moment she arrived, we truly thought it wouldn’t be long before someone saw her and took her home. That day just didn’t come. You could see in her eyes how badly she wanted to be chosen. Thankfully, a kind human stepped in, got Peppa out, and found her a place with Take Me Home Rescue.

Peppa girl is so incredibly worthy of love. She deserves a family who will hold her close, sit with her in the sun, and remind her every day that she is safe, wanted, and home.
