Peppa's Story

Peppa has been with us for just over two years now! She is so sweet and loving but is still a little shy when meeting new people. Her foster family works with her every day to help her come out of her shell and be loved like she deserves! She loves attention and her tail is always wagging but she is still nervous to come up to you and be pet. She loves other dogs and playing. Her favorite thing of all is being outside in the fresh air and laying out in the grass. Peppa would need to go to a quiet home that is willing to work with her to bring her out of her shell completely. She needs time to adjust to new surroundings so she might not be affectionate right from the start during her transition. If you are potentially looking for two dogs, she is attached to another dog of ours, Donna: a small chihuahua.

She is ready for her forever home. If you will provide Peppa the loving home she deserves, please complete the application on our Home Free Animal Rescue website.

Home Free Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
At Home Free Animal Rescue, our goal is to make adopting a rescue dog as simple as possible. Our adoption application is very short and can be found on our website: http://www.homefreeanimalrescue.com/adopt-foster/adoption-application/ or by clicking here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScczPOWUoaNxJaa0AGOkVxuzBZVODb0VjNKoAQmitrEFkOm2g/viewform?edit_requested=true&fbclid=IwAR2_QK7aKJPUAEmgtOmcFeYG04mXbTLIx09V5rEH0Nm6pRUahwanVcaQeJ8 Our adoptable animals are all fully vetted, including spay/neuter, shots and microchip. All are temporarily housed in private foster homes, so many are already housebroken or well on the way, some are crate trained, and many are working on leash-walking and basic obedience. Our foster families are also alert to our pets' behaviors and needs so that we are better able to fit pet to adopter based on personality and requirements. When looking to adopt a new friend through HFAR, please be sure to let us know what's important to you, so that we can help place the perfect pet in your home. Our fees are based on the costs incurred in rescuing each animal on an individual basis,

Our Mission
A WORD ABOUT FOSTER HOMES FOR RESCUE DOGS Foster homes offer a bridge between the horrific conditions of a kill shelter and a new loving forever home. Without foster homes, we would have nowhere to put the dogs we rescue. Fosters love each pup that comes through the door as if it were their own, and then are happy to see ...
