PENNY IS STILL LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME!

Could you be the fresh start this sweet girl deserves?

Penny is a 6-year-old, 18-lb Schnauzer who recently lost her dad and is adjusting to a whole new life without the two other Schnauzers she lived with. After consulting, the knowledgeable fosters, Veterinarians, and a behaviorist specialist , it was best to separate Penny from her two brothers who were causing her a lot of anxiety and stress. She’s an affectionate, people-loving girl who would love nothing more than to be your little shadow, keep you company, and curl up in your lap. â¤ï ̧

We’ve learned a little more about Penny as she has settled in, and we want to share an update to help her find the right match!

A little more about Penny:
Six years old and full of personality!
â¤ï ̧ Affectionate, cuddly, and very devoted to her people
Friendly with men, women, and new people
Moderate energy with a preference for being close to her person
ï ̧ She’s a talkative girl who likes to express herself!

Penny has made significant progress settling down since being separated from her two brothers. She seems much more relaxed on her own, which has helped us better understand what she needs to thrive.

Housebreaking is still a work in progress. Penny is learning, and her new family will need patience, consistency, and a willingness to continue working with her. She is still working on her fears of walking on a tile floor.

Penny can also be selective with other dogs, so slow, careful introductions are a MUST. She needs a family that understands not every dog is going to be her best friend and will give her time to adjust.

We have another foster home lined up for Penny on Tuesday Can we restart the, but what we’d really love is to find her forever family before she has to move again.

Moving from home to home can be a lot for a dog who has already experienced such a significant loss. If you’ve been thinking about adopting and have room in your heart for a girl who may need a little extra patience as she finds her footing, please consider Penny.

She isn’t a finished project, and we’re not going to pretend she is. But she’s making progress, she’s learning, and she deserves someone willing to give her the time and consistency she needs to succeed.

Could you be the person Penny has been waiting for?

Message 4 Lucky Dogs Pet Rescue to learn more about adopting Penny!

Please share to help Penny find her forever home before her next foster move.

#AdoptPenny #SchnauzerRescue #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #ForeverHomeWanted #4LuckyDogs
