Penny Lane

Meet our spunky little Penny Lane. This darling was picked up by one of our local animal control officers when she was found wandering around the streets of North-east Houston. An owner was located, however, they notified the shelter that they no longer wanted her :(<br/>Our rescue was quickly contacted and of course, we said we would be happy to take her into our rescue and help Penny Lane find her perfect, forever home. Penny Lane is currently in one of our foster homes (in North-east Houston) that she is sharing with three toddlers, two other dogs and two cats. As you can see from her pictures and video, Penny Lane is happy, healthy and enjoying her foster family.<br/><br/>Here is a little more about what we know about Penny Lane:<br/>*Believed to be a Schnoodle - Schnauzer/Poodle mix<br/>*Around one year of age - born around 3/1/2025<br/>*Currently weighs 12 lbs<br/>*Spayed<br/>*Heartworm negative<br/>*Up to date on vaccinations<br/>*Microchipped<br/>*Great with other dogs<br/>*Great with cats<br/>*Great with kids<br/>*About 75% potty trained<br/>*Working on kennel training<br/>*Rides well in a car<br/><br/>Schnoodles are affectionate, highly intelligent, and energetic crossbreeds between a Poodle and a Schnauzer, often acting as loyal watchdogs. They are generally considered low-shedding and hypoallergenic, making them great family pets. They thrive on attention, require daily exercise, and possess a playful, sometimes mischievous, demeanor. Penny Lane is no exception to these characteristics. She is an active little girl and will require an owner who will provide her with both mental and physical exercise on a daily basis.
