Penny's Story
Meet Penny! (Penny was a singleton puppy born in rescue. The pics and videos are from her last few weeks. We are ready to start looking for her forever family now <3)

Penny is a sweet little girl born on November 16th, 2025—the very same week the U.S. penny was officially retired, which is how she got her name. Just like her namesake, she’s small, special, and full of charm.
Currently weighing 4 lbs 13 oz, Penny is expected to stay on the smaller side. Her mom weighs about 12 lbs, and while dad is unknown, Penny is likely to remain a petite pup.

She is everything you’d expect from a young puppy—playful, curious, and full of joyful energy. Penny absolutely loves playing with toys and romping around with the other puppies in her foster home. She’s also doing wonderfully with the kids she’s been around and enjoys being part of a busy, loving household.
Because she’s still so young, training will take time, patience, and dedication. Penny will do best with an adopter who understands that raising a puppy is a commitment and is ready to guide her as she learns the basics of manners, potty training, and confidence.

Her breed mix is unknown, but her sweet personality is undeniable. Penny is looking for a forever home where she can continue to grow, play, learn, and be loved.

If you’re ready for the rewarding adventure of puppyhood, Penny just might be your perfect match.

Apply at adoptapal.org/adopt. Her adoption fee is $450 and includes age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, future spay, and a month of pet insurance.
