Penny's Story

Hi, my name is Penny and I am so happy to be alive! 🐶 Not too long ago, I was terrified living in a shelter and came very close to losing my life. But since coming to Colorado, every single day has been filled with new adventures, so much love, and — yes — lots of yummy food. 🍖

My foster family says I'm a very smart girl. I learned how to use the doggie door on my very first day, and because I'm food motivated, I pick up tricks quickly. I love people and other dogs, and I'm just so sweet and gentle — I'd probably love little kids too, even though I haven't met many yet!

My favorite things:

Snuggling with my foster parents 🥰
Playing chase with my foster sister (a Shepherd mix!)
Eating — obviously 😋
Chasing bunnies 🐇
Going on walks
I do live with a bossy little Chihuahua who sometimes snaps at me... it hurts my feelings, but I never react. I just run to my daddy for comfort. 🥺 I'm a lover, not a fighter!

I have so much love to give and I cannot wait to meet you. Could YOU be my forever family? 💛

👉 Want to meet Penny?

Fill out an adoption application at:
fromforgottentoforever.com/adoptionapplication
