Penny's Story

Meet Penny! Penny is an adorable hound mix puppy born around January 5, 2026, and this little sweetheart is already stealing hearts everywhere she goes. She’s expected to grow into a medium-sized dog around 45lbs when full grown. Penny is everything you love about a puppy — playful, curious, smart, and incredibly snuggly. She loves playing with her toys, romping around in the grass, and chasing leaves in the yard. She especially enjoys spending time with other animals and would happily play all day with a doggy friend. When playtime is over, Penny is just as happy to curl up for a cozy nap (often on her back with her legs in the air!). She’s a smart little girl who is already learning new things like climbing stairs and working on her recall with treats. Like most puppies her age, Penny is still learning about potty training and puppy manners, but she’s doing well and will continue to improve with consistency and patience. Penny gets along well with other dogs, cats, and has been curious but respectful around other small animals. She would thrive in an active home that will give her plenty of exercise, playtime, and continued training as she grows.<br/>Because she’s still a young puppy, Penny shouldn’t be left alone for long periods and will do best with a family that has time to help her learn and grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Penny is current on vaccines, and her adoption fee includes her future spay and microchip. If you're looking for a fun, loving puppy to grow up with your family, Penny might be your perfect match!
