Penny's Story
<p>Penny is a 1 year old Hound / Pit mix. Penny is a large dog packed into a nice smaller dog package and at 35 lbs she is full grown. She has plenty of energy and enthusiasm to do anything you want to do. Most important is that she is doing it with you. Very affectionate and friendly, this girl is a volunteer favorite. Penny has a good friend, Benny the Beagle, who is also at the kennel right now and they love to romp and play together. She is a great candidate for a home with another dog who can be her new best friend. She is still learning her basic commands and will need to continue this training in her new home. Kids 8 and up.
