Penny's Story

Penny deserves her turn to be chosen.

Somehow... Penny has been waiting since 2021 when she arrived as a pregnant mama. And honestly? We don't know why.

Penny is the kind of dog people say they're looking for. Happy. Loving. Loyal. Full of life. The kind who greets every day like it's the best day ever.

She's got that classic pittie joy—big smiles, wiggly greetings, and a heart that loves deeply and completely. Penny is incredibly affectionate and an elite-level snuggler who would happily spend the evening curled up next to her favorite human after a day of fun.

But she's not just sweet — she's smart, eager to please, and loves being part of the action. Penny would thrive with a family that enjoys getting outside, going on walks, playing in the yard, and letting her be part of everyday life.

A fenced yard where she can run and show off her joyful zoomies would make her very happy. She absolutely adores people and does wonderfully with other dogs, so she'd love a canine sibling if one is already in the home (though it's not required — she has plenty of love to give all on her own).

The only thing Penny asks is a cat-free home.

What breaks our hearts is that while other dogs have come and gone... Penny is still waiting. Waiting for someone to see the incredible companion she is. Waiting for the family that will finally say, “That's our girl.”

She's been patient for years.

Now she just needs one person to choose her.
