Penny's Story

Penny is around 1 year old. She is tall and beautiful girl. Her and Fuzzy(Great Pyrenees puppy) had been roaming the countryside for a long time and no one claimed them. She is very shy of new people. She will need adopters that will have patience with her to warm up. She in not agressive, she just wants to hide from new people. She has came around very well with her caretakers. She would do best with a dog companion, as she is used to being with other dogs and loves to play. It will help her with her confidence. I met her yesterday and even though she was scared, she was taking treats and letting me pet her freely by the end of the event.
She is a very good dog and full of love to give to the right home! We would prefer a fenced in yard for her so that she can be comfortable going outside to the bathroom.

From her foster home:
"Penny is a beautiful sweet girl! With a little patience she'll warm up to people fairly quickly. Also she is housebroken. We aren't having any accidents as long as she's taken out regularly. Loves to play with toys and other dogs. Haven't had any aggression issues and is good with kids."

She is now spayed and started on vetting.
$150 to help with the vet bills.

If interested please fill out an application on our website fofanimalrescue.org
