Penny's Story
Penny was brought in after she was seen being abandoned in the country. She is very sweet but shy at first. Once she opens up, she loves attention and cuddles! She enjoys going outside but would prefer to be with her person, no matter where they are!
Since she is so shy and startles easily at first, Penny would do best in a home without young children. She is not mean at all, but may be scared of the sounds and sights of young children. However, Penny is very loving and would do great with people who would take her with them once she’s comfortable enough to go on adventures!

Penny is guessed to be a Heeler/Lab mix, and is around 25-30 pounds! She has pretty blonde fur, and is guessed to be 2-4 years old!

Every dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is fixed, wormed, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and is tested for heartworm (if old enough). Dogs from GHAS will also come with a starter bag of Hills Science Diet dog/puppy food to get you started!
