Penny is dog friendly , loves people , and will melt your heart with her playful, affectionate personality.<br/>Penny does have a few quirks: she's an adventurous jumper, so she'll need a taller fence or consistent leash walks . She's also a little digger , which can be managed with some training and enrichment.<br/> No cats or small animals, please! Penny thinks anything smaller than her is basically a chew toy... and she's very persuasive!

At Journey’s Legacy Rescue, our goal is to match every dog with the perfect forever home. To ensure the best fit for both our dogs and adopters, we follow a structured adoption process: 1. Submit an Application The first step is to complete our adoption application. This helps us learn more about you, your household, and what you’re looking for in a companion. 2. Application Review Once your application is reviewed, our team will contact you if you are approved to move forward. 3. Meet & Greet If approved, we will help you set up a meet-and-greet with the dog you are interested in. This allows you to interact with the dog and make sure it feels like the right fit. 4. Finalize Adoption If the meet-and-greet goes well, you will choose a day to bring your new family member home. At that time, you will: Sign the adoption contract Pay the adoption fee. Transport fee of up to $200 applies to areas if more than a 2-hour drive dependent on the distance. From there, your new best friend will officially become part of your family! ???
