Meet Penny – Your Golden-Hearted Couch Companion

At 9 years young, Penny has perfected the art of being the absolute best girl. Weighing in at a cozy 55 lbs of pure love, she’s the kind of dog who doesn’t just enter a room… she gently warms it, like sunshine slipping through the curtains on a lazy Sunday morning

Penny is on the lookout for her forever home, ideally one with a soft couch, a loving human (or a few), and plenty of time for snuggles. Her hobbies include:

Professional-level napping
Joyful car rides with ears flapping in the breeze
Being everyone’s best friend, instantly

She’s wonderfully well-mannered and gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids alike. Truly, Penny is the social butterfly of the canine world, just with a slower, sweeter flutter these days

This lovely senior girl isn’t asking for much… just a comfy place to rest her head and a family to love her through her golden years. In return, she’ll give you unwavering loyalty, gentle companionship, and the kind of quiet joy only a dog like Penny can bring

If your home is missing a soft-eyed, kind-hearted soul… Penny might just be your missing piece.

If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list.
