PENELOPE- Needs a foster/forever home!

Penelope's estimated birth year is 2022.<br/><br/>Penelope is a Lab and Terrier mix who was hit by a car. Imaging done at the ER vet revealed what was thought to be a hernia, but it was a hematoma which has resolved. Unfortunately Penelope is very stressed at our shelter and really NEEDS to be in a foster home!! She is a very sweet girl who loves to hang out with people. Penelope needs a home where she can go on furniture and snuggle up with her family!!! She enjoys going for car rides, playing outside, and of course snuggling on the couch. She loves looking out the window. Penelope is good with other dogs after a slow introduction. Unknown with cats. Children 7 yrs old or older. Her forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard. This gorgeous girl is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, on monthly heartworm preventative as well as house and crate trained. Penelope cannot wait until she finds her forever family who will love and spoil and take her on amazing adventures for the rest of her life!!<br/><br/>All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs.
