Penelope's Story

If interested, please contact the foster home. Petfinder Profiles doesn't always work.

Location: Pembroke, Ma

Everyone meet Penelope. This girl deserves a family of her own and a soft spot to land. She is approximately 2 years old. What a story she has.

Penelope was found as a pregnant stray in Georgia. Before we could get her into the rescue she disappeared and we all feared and braced for the worst. Until one day she reappeared no longer pregnant. She was able to lead her rescuers back to the crawl space of a abandoned house where she had tucked her four babies in the furthest corner.

Penelope's puppies are now all weaned and she is looking for a family of her own. Penelope has not had the easiest of lives. At some point she was abused as evidence to how she flinches if you move your hands fast around her face. She also has an old cataract that causes her no pain, she is not fully visual in the eye but she compensates well. Penelope is a sweet girl who is fantastic with kids, she is a velcro dog who is looking for her best friend. She is pretty low energy and would love e someone to curl up on a couch with. She is house trained and UTD on shots, and will be spayed before going to her new home.

If you would like more info or have questions about Penelope you can reach me at;

Taryn.acdrafoster@yahoo.com

If you would like to adopt Penelope you can fill out an application here:

https://www.acdra.org/adoption-application
