PENELOPE (#30958) - Female. Around 5.5-6 years old and 43 pounds. Needs to be the only animal in the home (no other dogs or cats). Meets recommended with children - we suggest older kids. Has experienced a lot of abandonment, instability, and hardship in her life so far - needs a patient, committed adopter. Arrived emaciated and in very poor condition. Sweet girl who loves people. Playful and strong - needs an active home. Very resilient despite all she’s been through.<br/><br/>No appointments needed unless previously stated. Tuesday - Friday: 12-6 pm and Saturday: 10 am - 2 pm.<br/><br/>Meets now recommended (not required) with other dogs and children unless otherwise stated.<br/><br/>All dogs will come vaccinated (age appropriate), spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
