Penelope recently spent time healing in a loving foster home, where she proved just how friendly, affectionate, and people-oriented she truly is. She’s house trained, listens very well, and is very well mannered in a home- doesn’t chew! Penelope was soooo loved and spoiled in her foster home and we would love to see her back in a home once again!!<br/><br/>Penelope adores attention and loves being close to her humans. Loud noises frighten her, and she just needs reassurance that the world is not so scary. Penelope can get a bit jealous when other animals are around— so keep this in mind with other dogs. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption. <br/><br/>If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. <br/><br/>All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.<br/><br/>Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
