Penelope is a 2-year-old, 45 lb pit mix with the perfect mix of playful and snuggly.<br/><br/>She loves to play ball, zoom around the yard, and then crash on the couch for belly rubs. This girl is very affectionate and happiest when she’s close to her people. While she does well with other dogs and cats, humans are absolutely her favorite.<br/><br/>Penelope would do best in a home with older children or adults, as she’s not a big fan of small kiddos. She’s active, playful, treat motivated, and loves her toys.<br/><br/>Now for her one “quirk” — Penelope thinks her food bowl and favorite toys are very important treasures. She prefers not to share them with other animals (can you blame her? ). Because of this, she’ll do best with supervised feeding and toy time if other pets are in the home.<br/><br/>She is crate trained, potty trained, and will go outside or use a puppy pad if she can’t hold it.
