Peggy's Story
Peggy is a lovely girl at ~2 years old and ~40 lbs. She's a great medium-sized girl who could fit in your lap if she really tried! She's currently in a foster home and her foster says that she's as smart as a whip! She could use a tune-up on her leash manners, but she is getting better. Peggy loves kids and treats them no different than adults but should be in a home with no cats. She has done well meeting other dogs and may love another canine companion! She responds well to corrections and if she jumps on you and tell her "off" she listens. She is very house broken and will hold it in until the morning if she had to, she's also doing great with crate training! She's starting to understand hand signals for commands as well. She is a very sweet girl who will crawl up to you for love. She also loves squeaky toys and gets very excited to play with them.

She's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. She is $185 to bring home!

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
