UPDATE: PEDRO was taken into rescue by CalPaws K9. He still looking for his forever home. Info at https://calpaws.org<br/><br/>This is a courtesy posting. PEDRO is about 1 yr. old and about 40lbs. This handsome boy was found astray with his buddy Ziggy (already adopted) and was taken in by some kind people where he met grandchildren and other dogs and did great with all. After a brief stint in the shelter, efforts to locate his family proved fruitless and now this sweet boy is looking for a truly forever home to bond with. Please reach out if you think he might be a match for you. I'm sure he'd enjoy having a new best buddy as well. UPDATE (9/20): Pedro originally was found with his buddy Ziggy. They were separated after being at the shelter (Zig was adopted, and Pedro went to rescue), but Ziggy was again found astray, alone and injured, and is again available for adoption, if anyone is looking for a pair of dogs. Ziggy is not with Calpaws K9 Rescue and they do not need to be adopted together. Reach out to us for information on Zig.

WKODIT's Adoption Policy

To adopt a dog from WKODIT, you should e-mail or call us and let us know which dog you're interested in as well as some information about yourself and the home you could provide. We will e-mail you our adoption application and if you seem like a good match we will arrange an "interview" with the dog you are interested in. If you both like each other and you wish to adopt or arrange a sleepover, we will deliver the pup to you so we can make sure the pup and your home are a good match as well. You must sign an adoption agreement and pay an adoption fee, which is generally $220.00 but may vary depending on the dog's expenses/needs. We do support a "sleepover" period to allow both parties to confirm that they are the one
