Pedro's Story

Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me! "Pedro is the bestest boy at BARC right now! In his kennel he sat so patiently just watching me. When I leashed him, he was a little unsure at first but slowly worked up the confidence to walk with me. He walks beautifully on leash and did great on his temp test with TWO other males. He's curious but sweet, a little shy at first, but once he warms up he is going to be a total velcro dog - he's sooo loving. In the run, he let me dress him up in all sorts of silly props and posed perfectly with his little ears flopping. He is absolutely gorgeous and has this calm, graceful energy about him. He is such a good, young dog who deserves an amazing life. Anyone who adds Pedro to their family is getting an absolute delight."

Bark About It Rescue's Adoption Policy
We utilize a foster to adopt process, whereby dogs are placed with a prospective family following the acceptance of their application including a vet reference check and a home check. Following foster placement the rescue follows up with the family to ensure it is a good fit for the dog and family's respective wants and needs. If the foster period is successful, the adoption can be formalized with an adoption contract.
