Pedro's Story

Meet Pedro! Pedro is that perfect mix of fun and affectionate. He's about a year old, 45 pounds, and full of personality. He loves every dog and human he's met and truly just wants to be part of the action. If you're looking for a social, happy boy who fits in anywhere, Pedro is your guy.

He's crate trained and very smart. He already knows "sit," waits patiently at the door until you say "break," and even waits to eat until released. He even sits at the door and waits for permission before heading outside. We've started working on "place" too. He catches on quickly and genuinely enjoys learning.

Pedro is energetic and would love an active home that helps him burn off his puppy energy. Once he's had his playtime, he turns into the sweetest cuddle bug. Nighttime snuggles are his specialty.

He's also famous for proudly carrying around giant sticks like they're trophies. It's adorable. We are working on redirecting him from snacking on sidewalk treasures like leaves, acorns, and pinecones, and he's making progress. Squirrels, however... he is very committed to that dream.

Pedro would thrive with another playful dog or an active family who will continue his training and give him structure, fun, and lots of love.

If you're ready for a smart, happy, cuddly best friend, Pedro is ready for you.
