It is often difficult to understand how senior dogs, despite years of loyalty, can find themselves abandoned in empty lots or left behind at vacant houses. This is the reality for Pebbles, a nine-year-old, 12 pound boy currently at our rescue.<br/><br/>Pebbles has slightly cloudy eyes and a distinctive "hop" in his step, but he remains incredibly happy and resilient. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and finds great joy in simply following his companions around.
