PEBBLES's Story

This sweet girl is Pebbles! Pebbles wants nothing more than to be by your side for a hike or a cuddle! She loves all people and she's done well around other dogs in the past, but she would do best in a home without very small children as she has been overwhelming for them in the past. Notes from adventure buddies and foster friends: Pebbles is the sweetest! We took her on a hike and I think it was a new experience for her. At first, she kept stopping to look back at us as if unsure what to do, but she learned quickly, and by the end of the hike she was confidently taking the lead. She likes to make eye contact and would look up directly into our eyes frequently during the hike. She seemed to really want to please us. She was very calm in the car, and was surprisingly good on the leash for such a young dog - she was almost always on a loose leash. Occasionally she would give a little leap just for the joy of being out. She loved stopping on the trail to thoroughly check out an interesting scent, so she was not the fastest hiker. She jumped up on us a few times out of excitement early on, but was actually pretty laid back during the hike. She was not reactive to other dogs on the trail, and seemed friendly whenever we passed another dog. We really like Pebbles, she is very sweet, friendly, playful, and curious and clearly likes people. We think she would make a great family member.
