Pearl *Not yet ready for adoption

Pearl came to us from a SW Ontario puppy mill. She is around 7-9 years of age and spent her entire life being used as a breeding dog. We are so happy to say that those days are behind her and she has joined our rescue.<br/><br/>Pearl sadly has some health issues that we are working through before she is ready for adoption. Primarily she has a heart murmur. We have had an ultrasound performed and she is starting medication. Once we ensure she is responding well to the meds, she will be spayed and have a dental and then she will be ready to find her forever home.<br/><br/>She will be looking for a relatively quiet home with another friendly dog if possible. She is so happy when she is outside in the yard so we will definitely want her to have a safely fenced yard. For a puppy mill mama, she is quite friendly but will still need some patients to grow her confidence.<br/><br/>Please keep watching our page for updates!
