Pearl's Story

Pearl is an adult female pure white Husky Shepard mix dog. Her soft long hair coat makes her strikingly attractive, along with gentle energy in her eyes. Pearl came from a hoarding case many months ago. From that past she carried fear and shyness. Today, after months of work with her trainers, she is a trained dog who enjoys her human time hanging out together or taking leash walks. She is still cautious around strangers but warms up quickly. Trained in a prison she has had a lot of practice meeting new people. She is a well-mannered dog who does not jump or bark. She is house trained.
We do not recommend cats or small fast-moving children. Kind dogs take time for her to adjust to. We recommend her as an only dog. She is treat and toy motivated and responds well to positive reinforcement training. She no longer responds to force or punishment. Her yard should be securely fenced, especially if she spends unsupervised time there.
If one is looking for a gentle, loyal, affectionate companion to share life with, simply hanging out together. Or a daily walk on leash together, please consider Pearl. She is low maintenance and easy to live with.
She is anxious to go to her forever home. We have reduced her adoption fee to $125 to make that happen as the holidays approach
