Hello my name is Pearl. I am a 1 year old terrier cross who is quiet and well behaved in the home. I am toilet trained with 100% marks & I like coming and going in my crate. My foster Mom thinks I could be trusted out of the crate as I’m a very good girl not looking for trouble. I am quite nervous around new surroundings, new people & loud noises scare me. I need someone to devote time gently and compassionately showing me the world can be a friendly place. I have had some hard times. I am underweight & need some meat on my bones. That will come quick I gladly eat anything I’m offered. I am gentle to take treats, I don’t jump up on people & I am doing well on the leash although if I get scared I might stop and lay down. I am good with other dogs but don’t fancy them coming at me to fast or obnoxiously. I am a very sweet girl who loves affection. I need an understanding home and likely several exposures to build my confidence. I am spayed/microchipped/vaccinated & parasite treated. Located in Meaford. At this time an adult home will be preferenced for Pearl. I'm sure she would be good with children but the activity may be overwhelming for her. Pearl currently weighs 35lbs.
