Meet Pearl - a gentle, medium-sized beauty weighing in at 45 pounds and three years old. Pearl loves the simple pleasures in life: exploring the outdoors and enjoying long, cozy naps. While she might not be a social butterfly right away, give her a little time and patience and you'll discover a loyal, loving companion who will steal your heart.

Pearl is dog-friendly, house-trained, and crate-trained, making her an easy addition to any home. She's also a dream on the leash, making walks together a breeze. If you're looking for a sweet, steady friend to share life's adventures (and lazy days) with, Pearl is your girl!Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas. We require an approved adoption application on file before scheduling meets with our dogs. You can find the application here (www.bigpawsozarks.org/adoption-application). Big Paws of the Ozarks's Adoption Policy
All adopters must fill out an application on our website with all necessary information. From there, our staff will conduct a phone interview and answer any questions regarding the dog or the adoption process. Once approved, a meet and greet is scheduled with the family, dog, and dog's foster family. This is the time where other pets can be introduced. If the meet and greet goes well, we can send the dog in a trial adoption for a few days to make sure it is a perfect fit for everyone. From there the adoption is finalized through payment of the adoption fee and transferring of vet records.
