Pearl's Story
Pearl - Female - Adult

Meet Pearl, a stunning one-year-old German Shepherd Mix weighing in at 55 lbs and 23” tall to her shoulder, who is the very definition of resilience. Pearl came into the rescue with serious injuries, including a broken pelvis and a severely damaged leg that required amputation. Despite this challenging start, Pearl's loving spirit has never dimmed. Fully housetrained and up to date on her vaccinations, she is an absolute sweetheart who thrives on attention and is eager to move forward with her life. Her recovery journey is progressing wonderfully: she is currently enjoying short walks and is just beginning to master walking on a leash, a milestone we celebrate every day.

Pearl is described as sweet, smart, playful, and loves to snuggle, quickly showing her goofy and curious nature, especially now that she has discovered the joy of toys! She is a dedicated chewer who loves bones, though her new family should ensure a secure, dog-proofed environment since she occasionally attempts to chew other tempting items. Pearl is comfortable with her home routine; she is happy to snooze on the couch or her dog bed at night. When her people need to step out for a few hours, she rides well in the car and will readily go into her crate with a little encouragement. Pearl is ready for a patient, loving family who will cherish her goofy personality and provide her with the secure, cozy forever home she so richly deserves.

Adoption fee is $295. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed and fully vaccinated.
