Pearl's Story
Meet Pearl!

Pearl is around 1 and a half years old and is ALL legs, only weighing about 30 pounds. She is extremely affectionate and loves snuggling up right next to you on the couch, she will also sneak in quick licks/kisses when she can. Pearl is so funny and when she gets really exited she springs up in the air, it is absolutely adorable and sure to put a smile on your face! Pearl loves all toys but will still dig her way to the bottom of the toy bin to find the hidden gems. Pearl is also very smart and will likely pick up on training quickly, she learned how to sit for a treat and runs straight to her kennel when it’s time to eat! She is very eager to please her people and picks up on the routines quickly, but is still learning so would do best in a patient home.

Pearl can be scared at first, and would require a canine friend to help her continue to learn how fun life can be as a family pet. She is also currently being fostered with 3 cats, 1 senior and 2 younger, and she is great with all. Pearl sleep in her kennel at night and is wonderful at running outside to do her business, get her wiggles out, eat some snow, then runs straight back to the door to come in! Since new places can be scary, a fenced yard would be best for her to have a nice safe place to run and potty. Pearl would also acclimate better to a quieter home at first, and would do best with only older children.

Is this goofy love bug the next hidden pearl of your life?
If you would like to meet Pearl, please visit spotslaststop.org and fill out an application.
