Pearl's Story

Meet Pearl!

Pearl is an absolute sweetheart who has settled into foster life like she's been doing it forever. She loves the kids, loves playing with the other dogs, and really loves being wherever her people are. Personal space? Pearl has never heard of it. If you're sitting down, expect her adorable face to be approximately three inches from yours.

She's housetrained and crate trained and is excellent in her crate both day and night, with no separation anxiety. She walks pretty well on leash, hasn't shown any destructive chewing, and already knows sit and down. She's very food motivated, super smart, and listens well - she just has some of those typical young-dog manners to polish up, like jumping when she gets excited.

Pearl does have some prey drive with cats. If they run, she wants to chase, but if they stay put, she'll usually just sniff them and can easily be called away. A home with cats would need to be comfortable with supervised interactions and continued training.

Pearl is playful, affectionate, goofy, and eager to please. She has a great foundation already - now she just needs a family who wants a smart, fun girl who will happily make herself part of absolutely everything.

Rebel Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
At Rebel Animal Rescue, we believe in keeping adoption as simple and welcoming as possible. Instead of strict, one-size-fits-all requirements, we focus on open conversations with potential adopters. We want to learn about your home, lifestyle, and any challenges you might face, and work together on solutions that set you and your new pet up for success. The adoption process starts with a short application, which we review to make sure the match could be a good fit. From there, we arrange a meet-and-greet with your entire family—and for dog adoptions, your resident dogs too. If everyone feels good about the match, we encourage a one-week trial period. This gives you time to see how your new pet settles in. At the end of the week, we’ll finalize the adoption if it’s working out—or welcome the animal back if it’s not the right fit. Our goal is to find loving, lasting homes while keeping the process as stress-free as possible for both you and the animal.
